Grading: Kamfa Flowerhorn
Kamfa Flowerhorns:
Introduction:
- To understand what your looking at you should really understand the traits that make your fish classed kamfa
Lips:
- The lips of the Kamfa is smooth and circular and lips meet even
Eyes:
- The eyes of the kamfa are hollow/sunken and vary in colour from white, orange, yellow and red
Fins:
- The dorsal fin and anal fin of the Kamfa would wrap around the caudal fin and they would look like one whole fin.
Body:
- Kamfa the body is big square and solid it’s tail should also be big and strong fanned and overlapping
Script/Flowerline:
- Script/flower should be more than 75% to 100% black and solid, but nowadays we also have script less.
Desire to look for in Kamfa:
- Kok - the bigger the better. But usually sit more forward then zz
- Colours - the more solid & colorful the better. The more coverage the better
- Body - the stout & thicker with short face the better.
- Finage & Tail - big and strong but not looking stretched.
- Script- this can vary in kamfa largely but usually has no flower on kok
- Pearls, now this is all up to the buyer but to be quality if it has pearls it should be shiny and consistent
